Unlawful subletting is a problem for many RSL’s, private landlords and estates. Remington Hall can offer effective solutions to our landlord Clients and their legal advisors.


After our Clients have been alerted to a suspected case of unlawful subletting, non-occupation or abandonment, we gather as much intelligence as possible, cost-effectively, to establish and confirm the situation.


Our initial action is to prepare a fixed fee residency report in regards to the property, the current occupiers and the lawful tenant/s. Once we have established where the lawful tenant currently lives and who is in occupation at the Clients property,  the next stage sees us gathering video evidence of the lawful tenant residing at the new traced address and using it on a daily basis and also capturing video evidence of the new occupiers at the Clients property.


This footage is almost always captured by way of covert static surveillance. We also attend at the neighbouring properties to secure that all important local knowledge that can lead to a successful possession.
